Power MP3 Cutter is an audio editing tool that allows you to split MP3 files. It basically allows you to cut any piece of any sound file that you might have that is supported. The supported formats are MP3 and WAV. This is really a simple program, but it does what it is supposed to do quite well. The steps to follow are simple: first, add the sound file that you want to edit; second, select the part of the file that you want to cut, and then, process the file. The graphical user interface of this application resembles that of WinAmp, which is not too bad, since that was a really good GUI. The buttons are self explanatory and the whole process should be really easy to complete. The convert speed is good, since most cuts are made in real-time. You can also add transition effects to your finalized files. Fade in and fade out effects are great for when you need to merge several sounds in one and don't really want the final file to sound choppy. All in all, this is a nice, little application that works great and fast. |
